Can you solo proving your worth
The Doomed Fleet. The Lost Ingots. Armed and Ready. Comments Comment by you can find these guys outside north eash of the raven hill graveyard, the warders are inside Dawning Wood Catacombs though Comment by swotam This quest rewards Stormwind reputation as of patch 2.
Comment by The warders are underground, enterance in the small building down the hill from the house. It is surrounded by healers and raiders. Watch out for the 31st level elite that raoms around this area. Comment by Personally as a lvl 27 Warrior just solo'ed by Killing "Healers and Raiders" outside the tomb at 15,38 and the first 3 Warders inside the tomb.
There is an elite lvl30 but roaming pattern is very predictable so easily avoided if on your own. Enjoy this one i did :. Heal and Shadow Bolt. Shadow Bolt is their 1 priority. If you interrupt that, they're going to use their heal for sure. It may be worth it to just not bother silencing their SB cast, since their Heal brings them back up to practically full HP. Are they scattered around the cemetary as well? Comment by Thottbot looks in the catacombs, lots down there.
Comment by Thottbot I went down the stairs of the catacombs and the first 3 guys I ran into were warders 2 28 and 1 29 Was able to do it easy with lvl 26 mage solo. Comment by Thottbot Enter the catacombs at , Comment by Thottbot I also found them at , right when you enter there are the 3 warders needed to complete the quest. Comment by Thottbot Located in the catacombs at 16, Killed them as a 29 hunter, the ones down there were level They aren't terribly hard, but there's alot of stuff in the area.
Watch out for Mor'Ladim as you're on the way in. They also respawn very quickly down there. Comment by Thottbot After the 2. Comment by Thottbot I was lvl 24 draenei warrior and i killed all the Raiders and Healer, healers was so easy i just used shield bash when they healed but i cant kill the wards i think are they only in the caves? Comment by Thottbot warder are in cata.
Comment by Thottbot Not so easy but i'm 29 lvl Mage. Comment by Thottbot By no means easy, but doable. Got most of the warders and raiders in the catacombs. My VW could tank two at a time without dying. Comment by Thottbot Not hard. Did this one with my Lvl 27 warrior. Just work slowley 1 at a time.
Comment by Thottbot wardens are in the houses. Comment by Thottbot 24 mage? Are u sure? Did it as lvl 26 mage.
Comment by Thottbot I tried to do this last night, as a lvl 27 fire mage, the first spell in my case a phyro hits the warder, the rest he resisted all, just had some sort of aura around him, tried frost and arcane, very frustrating.
I didn't die cause they wouldn't attack but I couldn't hit them after the first attack. When she respawns, her pockets will have reset and the next Rogue can get their quest item. Comment by Syber You can actually summon rogues in from outside the raid to come in to pickpocket her.
Have a druid go in and attack then Shadowmeld so she can reset. She will respawn with another ring in her pocket. I was able to stealth past him with no troubles, but upon reaching the temple, I found it was phased. No dragons to ride to other bosses, no Lord A. If you'd thought about trying this, just to get the quest in your log ready to go - save your time.
Flying to Wyrmrest Tower in Dragonblight will not get you the quest. The NPC will not have a quest for you in Northrend. Comment by Pathal made a very comprehensive guide, located HERE , that explains the entire proccess of obtaining the legandary daggers. FYI, it does contain spoilers. Comment by "Unfortunately, the ring is inert until it is charged Comment by Get quest from Lord Afrasastrasz, who is to the right as you enter the instance.
Take 3rd Drake to the top of Spire. You need to clear trash before Hagara will come down from her floating platform where she is not target-able. At this point you may stealth up behind her and Pick Pocket her for the ring. You have to be in the raid, but may be summoned in just for this, as long as you get the quest from the beginning.
If you where not with the raid from start. You can take portal back to top, then right portal to bottom to pick up quest also, same place you turn it in to get A Hidden Message A Hidden Message.
I just want to clarify this in a single post. Please at least upvote this so other noob rogues like myself can rest assured that we can at least get the 1st stage of the daggers with minimal difficulty. Comment by I can confirm that the ring resets every 15 minutes and looting it does not save you to the instance.
Comment by Kinda weird that you can pick up the quest using the Raid Finder tool, but then can't pickpocket the ring.. Comment by Jflakmaster Hi, I don't do a lot of questing on my Rogue, so I don't know whether you have to of done a specific questline to start this quest or not, because when I went in to DS I couldn't get the quest at all.
Could someone help if they can please? Comment by Nobbel Here is a video I made on the first stage of the legendary questline. Comment by yellowmana "When the course of battle takes you to the Eye of Eternity, I need you to pickpocket Hagara the Stormbinder to retrieve a cryptomancer's decoder ring.
Are you up to the task? Comment by TheSpirea You can join a raid that has already killed first 3 bosses can't do it through LFR , get summoned to the 4th one, pickpocket her, return to Lord Afrasastrasz same NPC who gives you the quest and leave the raid.
Comment by hey so i went into dragon's soul and there was no quest for me and im a lvl 85 rogue and was just wandering if there was anything special that i had to do before i can get the quest chain started. Comment by I have a trial account with a level 10 hunter I use for forming a raid group when I do my weekly Molten Core run. I made a raid group with that character, walked into Dragon Soul, the guy giving the quest is right at the entrance.
Next I'll have to see if you can get the decoder ring through LFR. I've heard that it's possible, but I haven't tried myself. Comment by Ondersjaak One does not simply walk into the Eye of Eternity. Comment by OK, I got the ring but left the raid before I remembered to hand it in. Now I zone back into DS and the Lord is nowhere to be found.
Am I completely screwed here? Will raid reset fix it? Comment by since no one has bothered to point out this quest actually starts at the beginning of the dragon soul raid. Lord Afrasastrasz is in side the raid at the beginning off to the right standing by a bunch of people. You can only get the quest from him inside the raid.
Dont bother wasting time going to wyrmrest temple. Comment by gonzurro hi, i see the NPC but he dont give me quest, any idea? Comment by I hope someone is still replying back to this posting. I need help with the "proving your worth" quest. I cannot seem to find this. I have was doing the Seige of wyrmrest and fall of deathwing raids using the lfr, but i see someone posted that u can't use that if u want to pick up the raid.
I also saw that as a rogue you can enter the dragon soul raid without being in a raid party, this is false. Can some please tell me specifically what i need to do to get this quest and start my fangs of the fathers quest? BTW i am a level 85 sublety rogue ilvl in case that helps. Are there any pre-requisites to starting this quest chain? Comment by sagapo Not to sound selfish however, I have a Rogue as an alt no where near ready for this quest line , but why aren't there "Legendary" quests for other classes?
I've seen the youtube video showing parts of the Rogue quest at the end, and I think it would be cool for similar long epic quests were available for the other classes. Comment by Guys , I have a problem.
I'm playing on cataclysm I like it more and the Lord Afrasastrasz was added on patch 5. Can anyoane tell me who give the first quest on wow cataclysm? Comment by Gimroth As of 6. On my rogue, I went into Dragon Soul to kill the first four bosses. After taking down the first boss, I could talk to Lord Afrasastrasz on the first floor of the Wyrmrest Temple. Once the next three bosses were down, I was able to go to Eye of Eternity to spawn Hagara the Stormbinder.
Here's the important part: She spawns a few trash packs. Just kill them. After the last trash mob , the boss will jump down to the center of the room and become attackable. She does not engage you automatically. Make sure to keep a distance when she jumps down to not accidentally body-pull her. I wonder He will put you to the test. You will receive: 1 Enter the Proving Grounds. Here, you may test your skill at performing several different combat roles: dealing damage, absorbing damage, and healing.
I shall administer and judge these trials. There are comprehensive guides on Wowhead on how to prepare for the challenges and what you can expect. Wowpedia Explore.
